The Wachusett Reservoir is open to fishing the first Saturday of April through December 31st. The opening weekend is a tradition for some, but a great opportunity for all to catch a personal best salmon, smallmouth, or laker! You know we thrive on supporting local, and the opening weekend provides a predictable boost for local bait and tackle shops each year. This was our first time out at the Reservoir, and it did not disappoint!
After an absolute grind of a season, we stuck it out until the last day while following the advice of some local guides and using quality local hunting products.
